Artist bio
Adam Double is a British/Canadian composer and session musician based in London. He has composed music for a number of film and TV soundtracks. Most recently, providing additional music for the film adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s Four Kids and It (2020), starring Michael Caine, Russell Brand, Mathew Goode, and Paula Patton. Other recent credits include writing additional music for Stardust, a mini-biopic about the creation of David Bowie’s alter-ego Ziggy Stardust starring Johnny Flynn; Race For The Whitehouse, a documentary series for CNN and Dear NHS Superstars which aired on BBC1 earlier this year. As a session musician, Adam is best known for performing bass guitar on the soundtrack to Rocketman (2019). He played on Elton John’s ‘I’m Gonna Love Me Again’, which went on to win Best Original Song at the 92nd Academy Awards. Adam is a multi-instrumentalist, and has performed with artists such as Seasick Steve, Lighthouse Family, The Shires, Tom Grennan, Ward Thomas and Lewis Watson, on guitar, bass, keys, percussion and vocals.
