Adara Kay

Adara Kay, an independent artist, was born and raised in the small town of Lone Grove, OK. In 2018, she moved to Edmond to pursue her education at the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she immediately found her backbone of a band. Her influences include Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Dorothy, and other badass females in the industry. Along with the female side of music, she also takes inspiration from Read Southall, Koe Wetzel, Turnpike Troubadours, and other southern rock artists. In 2019, she moved to Tennessee to further her education and music career. Since the move, she has recently graduated from MTSU. Still in Tennessee, she continuously does writer's rounds and shows with the Double Shot Band from Lynchburg, TN. AK, released her first EP, "Why Not," in 2020 with top songs, "She's in Trouble" and "Why Not." She released her second EP, "Who I Am," in April 2021, with top songs, "Leave Ya" and "Caught." Adara Kay has plans to release her next project in early spring of 2022, which includes unique sounds from southern rock, western grunge, and country genres. A few singles and a new EP are soon to be released.
