Alessia

Born in Switzerland and currently based in London, jazz and funk influenced singer songwriter Alessia combines nostalgic vibes with a contemporary twist. 80’s aesthetics and energy are mixed with the confidence of Girl Power. The end product is an uplifting, sugary-sweet dance-pop package, dripping in funk nostalgia. Artists that influence Alessia’s sound Include James Brown, Sigrid, Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Jamiroquai, Fela Kuti and Rhys Lewis. Since moving from her homeland to London in 2019 to pursue her studies in music, Alessia has released seven singles as a solo artist, as well as collaborating with a variety of other artists including Seven Seers, Salah Zhouri and Jul Cebury. This was followed by the release of her debut EP, SUGAR in November 2021. SUGAR sees her open up her heart to her fans, inviting them to observe her emotional vulnerability. Each song allows Alessia to point her creative lens at distinct sides of love, creating a complete and almost cathartic soundtrack to one of the most crucial facets of life.
