Kent-Alfs

Kent-Alfs was a Swedish dansband from Mora and Älvdalen who was active through the late 1960s until the early 1980s. The 1970s was the bands golden era. During the mid '70s they had around 230 gigs each and every year in Sweden but also in Norway and Finland. They released a singel in 1974 and in 1976 they got an opportunity to record an own album. Together with Bo Starander (aka Bob Lander) from The Spotnicks as a producer, they recorded a full length album in Tal & Ton Studio between 19-22 January 1976. Due to various mysterious reasons the album was never released and the fans never got to hear what they were waiting for. Until 2020. Over four decades later the recordings are released thanks to David Gunnarsson, the grandson of the lead guitarist Mats Gunnarsson. The album Kent-Alfs i studio 1976 was released 11th december 2020 by Sun Island Records together with Dalapop on Spotify and on vinyl through Bengans.se. Så förlåt lilla vän is the singel and first track from the album. Kent-Alfs inspired a lot of musicians through the years and had a lot of fans in the nordic countries. They had a very significant and famous sound with a lot of background vocals and beautiful guitar melodies. Kent-Alfs was Christer Edlund (vocals and organ), Mats Gunnarsson (lead guitar), Anders Barke (vocals and rhythm guitar), Kenneth Finsén (vocals and bass) and Tore Ersson (vocals and drums).
