Lis Addison

Lis Addison is a composer and producer of electro-acoustic vocal music. Classically trained in piano, composition and Indian Raga, her first piece of music fell into her head at age eleven when she was practicing the piano. Since that moment she has concentrated on being a clear vessel for inspiration while simultaneously working on her craft as a musician and producer. After going on a Vision Quest where she was nearly struck by lightning and bitten by a rattlesnake she began incorporating frequencies of healing into her music and blending sound healing and dance to form her Kinetic Voice Program. Her nature-themed songs range from meditative to danceable. Lis has won awards from the Pacific Composer's Forum, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Global Music Awards and the New Age Reporter. She has a BA in Music Composition and an MFA in Electronic Music. Her last four releases have been in the top 10 of the International Charts. In early 2020 she went on a 30 city tour through the Pacific NW, Australia and New Zealand. Due to the pandemic, Lis had to cancel appearances scheduled for Europe but is continuing her tour to Israel, Dubai and Africa in the Fall of 2022.
