Patrick Adams is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist that hails from Minneapolis Minnesota. As a result of growing up in the diverse cultural atmosphere of Minneapolis, Patrick was directly influenced by a wide variety different musical genres and artists. From an early age Patrick began experimenting with live music teaching himself to play, arrange and sing his own material. Raised primarily by a loving and supportive father, Patrick was encouraged to follow both his musical and athletic aspirations. Now a veteran in the music industry having worked, played and performed alongside artists such as funk legend Larry Graham ( Sly and the Family Stone, Graham Central Station ) to Neo Soul and New Jack up and comers, Patrick has amassed a very impressive and diverse body of work and has played an active role in what has now been dubbed as “ The Minneapolis Sound “. However never content to rest on his laurels, he continues to create and expand as an artist as he ventures into new musical territories both figuratively and literally. His Independent label Groove Productions Inc., which he started and still runs in his native city Minneapolis, is a testament to his commitment to keeping his passion for music alive as well as helping to develop and provide opportunities for other artists that share his credo.
