Artist bio
It has been a busy couple of years for The Heart of Katherine making waves with their new break out single ’Follow’. This artist continues to grow momentum after their debut EP release in 2014 which led to opening for Australian idol winner Stan Walker, and a position in the Official NZ top 40 charts along side NZ heavyweights Lorde and SIX60. After two highly anticipated shows in Wellington at both the Heart Music Group New Zealand label launch, and the Lost by Design Winter Vibes concert, the act is creating a very real hype in the local market.
The artist's current EP entitled "Water and Skies" is a series of four songs with the first three parts “Flicker” 'Follow' and 'Evergreen' released over the lockdown period. The songs have been featured on both ZM and Life FM radio playlists with the single 'Follow' peaking at #1 on the Life FM audience voted charts. Such varied placements reflect the artists exceptional ability to create music that appeals across an extensively wide demographic. The lead singer and songwriter of the group Marty Bryant, has hinted that ‘Glow' the final release of the EP, is set to launch later this year along side an independently hosted release show.
